About

LONG TIME TOGETHER

The Irish Mystics origin: Jim 'Chevy' Chevalier (bass), Rich Van Ham (harmonica) and David Sean Glynn (vocals, guitar) have been playing together for over 20 years in the Empty Can Band and several years before that, Chevy and Dave performed hundreds of times at Irish pubs and festivals as the Dave Glynn band. Fiddler Andy Masters joined Dave, Rich and Chevy to form the Irish Mystics.  Mark Van Ham, brother of Rich, recently joined the band on drums.

A Night in Ballyferriter

Dave returned to the home sod in September of 2019 and joined in a session at Brick's Pub.  Oddly enough, they wanted him to play the Chicago Blues, they didn't want to hear any Irish songs.

Looking to the Future

A lad by the name of Andy Masters invited Dave to dinner and some magic took place. So Dave asked Andy to join The Irish Mystics along with his 1850's violin.
